Effy is a healthcare consultant by day and an avid reader and writer by night. Among others, since she’s afflicted by a raging desire for academic affirmation, she has a degree and background in Professional Writing and Rhetoric, working as an ESL tutor for graduate students before publishing weekly articles for an online magazine as a Travel and Social Action writer. After writing short thrillers and sci-fi stories for as long as she can remember, she currently writes epic fantasy that highlights characters exploring morality and redemption. As a military spouse and brat, she loves to travel and gets itchy staying in one place for too long. Both she and her husband are pilots, so they have a deep-seated love for all things aviation and enjoy spending time outdoors with their two German Shepherds and preparing for their first child.
